Blender Gas Planet

A partially complete gas planet created in Blender 3D and rendered in cycles render. I followed some of the lost in space season two concept art for this one, and I quite liked the result.

Additional displacement from a large storm texture I threw together in GIMP

An additional sphere with a cloud texture (also thrown together in Gimp) is placed. use slight subsurface with a subsurface radius of R=0.6, G=0.8 and B=1 for puffy effect, displace sphere with said cloud texture.

Add in some orange emission in the volume shader for the initial sphere. a multifractal Musgrave texture with the dimension set to 0 with slight modification works well

do the same thing again for some blue lights, except slightly change the texture
